The hostel, located in a charming primary school building, exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were equipped with comfortable beds and attached bathrooms, ensuring a convenient and cozy stay. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my request for a double room, even though the hostel wasn't fully booked. The showers worked well and the WiFi was fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected throughout my visit. In addition, the common areas and outdoor grassy spaces were beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful setting to relax and unwind. The hostel's close proximity to the Camino, park, and old town made it a convenient and ideal choice for exploring the area. Lastly, the cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, further enhancing my overall experience. The organized breakfast, which included meat and cheese, was a definite highlight and ensured a great start to my days. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Vila Nova de Cerveira - it truly is a hidden gem and one of the best youth hostels I have ever stayed in.

The location of the hostel is great, close to the town center and with a beautiful view of the river. the staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay comfortable. the facilities were well-kept, with clean common areas and a grass lot. the breakfast provided was well-organized, with a variety of options including meat and cheese. the room was spacious and had a attached bathroom, ensuring privacy and convenience.

The shower lacked temperature control and only provided lukewarm water.

The breakfast offered a good variety of homemade cakes, which was a nice touch. the location was convenient as it was close to both the train and bus stations. the spaciousness of the bedroom with the ensuite bathroom provided a comfortable stay.

On the negative side, there was no air conditioning in the bedroom and it was extremely hot. the presence of a fan helped a bit, but the overall temperature was still uncomfortable.

I recently stayed at the Hi Vila Nova De Cerveira - Pousada De Juventude for a few nights while walking the Camino.
